OP may be referencing the September Effect

The September Effect refers to the historically weak stock market returns observed during the month of September.
In fact, September has been the worst performing month, on average, going back nearly a century.
People who want to invest according to the September Effect may want to also invest according to the Monday Effect.

There's also a 0.99 correlation between the opening price of the S&P Global and the number of bachelor degrees awarded in military technology. If you torture the data long enough it will confess to anything. :happy
