Personal Finance (Not Investing) • What does your setup using Fidelity CMA and Brokerage accounts look like?

So I am considering the trade off between having the CMA topped off by the Cash Manager, which has been nice, versus having the Transfer Lockdown in brokerage. Unlocking once a month is not a big deal.

Would it make sense to use neither the Cash Manager nor the Transfer Lockdown options?

Without the Cash Manager option, there would be no automatic transfers from the investment account to the CMA when the CMA does not have enough available cash for a transaction. Without the Transfer Lockdown option, there would be no need to unlock it to make a manual transfer.
