Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Unusual circumstances for IRMAA appeal?

Am I understanding this correctly? Do I have a case? Any ideas about how I can I pursue this?

I'm not sure about the wording but nobody needs IRMAA relief for a year with lower income. The presumption is that income had gone up for a year due to a covered situation, and then probably reverted to "normal."
