Its kind of a pointless question to be honest. If they are beating the market do you stick with them even though its likely a fluke? I assume if they are behind you'll be unhappy and leave. The value of a financial advisor isn't really putting you in good investments to beat a benchmark, most do a fine job of picking appropriate investments that get returns close to an index fund portfolio. The value is keeping you invested and providing an overall financial plan if you aren't capable of doing that yourself.
So the real question is, why do you have a financial advisor?
Is that value worth about 1% a year for your whole life which results in massive reductions in retirement savings???
