Personal Consumer Issues • Quebec City

One of our favorite cities that we liked more than Montreal. We recently stayed at the Clarendon Hotel in the Old City. It was conveniently located, comfortable and has easy access to most sites. The Old City is walkable, though if you have mobility issues it is hilly and can be difficult for some.
Some highlights for us in no particular order;
1.Exploring the grounds and interior of Chateau Frontenac, then having lunch at Bistro Le Sam overlooking the St Lawrence River.
2. Rue du Tresor. A "artist alley" with vendors selling their works. Not the usual tourist trap place.
3. Walking around the Ramparts and Gates and reading the history.
4. Petit-Champlain area. Narrow streets with restaurants and shops
5.Old Port area, more narrow streets with restaurants and shops.
6. Plains of Abraham
7. Citadelle de Québec
8. Stopping at sidewalk cafes for a coffee and croissant, watching the world go by.
Enjoy!
