Yes please. Some of the more arcane I can puzzle out (sometimes even correctly), but having multiple readers each doing an online search --- or just passing on understanding the reference --- seems like less collective effort than the original poster taking an additional couple of seconds to spell out things on first reference --- for those acronyms that are not commonly used.
Some acronyms are used so often, and so populate a post, that spelling them out every thread would be tedious and clutter the content. Should we define “CD” in every single thread? Should we post the relevant IRS reference every time “401K” is mentioned?

This is a message board, not an academic paper. And learning a new subject always involve learning new terminology. That’s just the price of learning.

Google is your friend. Just type the acronym, along with “acronym finance” and 9/10 you will figure it out. That’s probably easier on the group than trying to simplify every post to the least informed reader

Also, not to be rude, but that’s just the norm of the internet and electronic communication. So we can accept that and move on or just sit around pointlessly complaining
